Allianz Travel Insurance Reviews

Allianz Global Assistance ripped me off for money. They charged my card 4 times for something which I was supposed to be charged once! But real problem is that they don't even allow you to complain. I send complaint by email and they don't want to communicate with me - just sending be back some generic email which do not solve problem.

I write review here to warn those who still have insurance policy with Allianz. I paid 2K premium fee each year to them for insure my house and they now ask me to find the private contractor to fix the property damage caused by their assessment job. What a joke!!After I read so many negative reviews with Allianz and now I know I am not the only one who face this ridiculous situation. What they have done is destroy your property, make the problem worse and deny your claim.I don’t know how this company will exist. Never return your call, never listen what you said.

Got approved but never received a check from them. Last time I called (5 times) and finally someone pickup the phone and told me a check was sent out and 4 weeks now still no check. I'll give them another week then report to National Insurance Crime Bureau. There are many bad reviews on here and no one ever reported them??? You can't let this company SCAM people like this!!! ALLIANZ paid 6B for insurance scam.... google it This must be stop

Allianz sold me a policy for a one year comprehensive multi trip policy for $ 850
No one could have expected the Pandemic and I held the same idea that an insurance company could within reason exclude such a catastrophic event.
What is unusual and very unacceptable is that Allianz through its self owned Agent WORLD CARE offered to reinstate the policy I bought at the end of the Covid Emergency.
But this is the sticky part. Although they made the promise to reinstate they 'suddenly' developed a 'niche' where NO new policy existed and therefore my existing policy which the understood to reinstate could no longer exist.
This is the conundrum I'd prefer anyone else did not have to face.
I have completed the first two legs of my fare away from my departure point which was Johannesburg to Melbourne and now cannot get back without the insurance company stepping n on my side.
Instead of taking care to protect the interests of a 69 yo client who has insured many times before without claim, in this instance the Insurer ALLIANZ chose to repudiate the claim on no particular grounds other than they 'ceased offering this product' and instead declined to offer the client an option to recover their flights.
This repudiation of responsibility is clearly outrageous.

I once got involved with a hit-and-run accident.
So I couldn’t get some informations and all that and no one could even help me out . So the debts were in my head , I had so much bills piled up at that time including my credit cards . I used to live With my friend at that time . I needed a new house and I needed help with my credit score. I had no where to turn to. My credit score was 569,
I wanted it a little higher and probably my late payment deleted although most of them I had no idea why they were there because I never opened fake accounts with credit card. I went on internet to search for help on how to fill in my debts and I found Mr Matt the credit expertise who helped me out. We got started with the process with some few questions and a little display of competency as a proof of legitimacy.
The good news is that he did all he said he will do (deleted the accounts, erased all the inquiries and eventually raised my score to 795. And I was able to get my loans up and secure new apartment.

I would advise not to ever get this insurance. They will not work with you and always point you back in the direction of the company you purchases from. This is how they wash their hands of paying you. I wish I could get the word out more about how bad this company is. The fact that a well know company like ticket Master refers you to them is even worse.

The worst company ever. Do Not join with them. I had a health insurance policy with them once and I was Not happy with their service at all, so i have joined with someone else and quit from Allianz Global Assistant Australia and i have asked for a refund from them(Allianz Global Assistant Australia), because i have already paid to them for the whole year. So after that i have called my new health insurance company to active my new health insurance policy and they asked me, my previous Policy transfer document from my previous health insurance company( Allianz Global Assistant Australia). Then again i have contact Allianz Global Assistant Australia and told them what my new health insurance company asked me and then i asked for the Policy transfer document from Allianz Global Assistant Australia. Hey guys so guess what they have that told me..., The Allianz Global Assistant Australia told me that, in order to release my Policy transfer document, i have to sacrifice my refund and lodge a refund cancelation request and then they(Allianz Global Assistant Australia) will be able to release my Policy transfer document. That is bloody ridiculous. Hey everyone i’m telling you again Do Not join with them(Allianz Global Assistant Australia).

under no circumastances should any one by travel insurance from this company as they do noy pay .
They are the best company for getting your money and also not paying out on claim submitted .

DO NOT BUY A POLICY FROM ALLIANZ. Even when they offer coverage for an event, they have an exclusion clause that allows them to deny the claim. My policy plainly states that we had coverage for being quarantined. My wife and I both were forced to quarantine, and the airline would not allow us to fly.

In exclusions Allianz then states they do not cover anything during an epidemic. You better read the exclusions in the policy -- even though they say they offer coverage for specific events they have a massive list of exclusions to prevent them from paying the claim. Run from this company!

This company will do everything it can not to honour your claim, with the most confusing and repetitive time wasting and form filling exercise in the hope that you will give up so they can keep your money.

Their practices are a borderline SCAM and I emplore you to stay well clear of them.

I'm also surprised Aer Lingus use them as it is damaging their reputation being associated with this awful insurance company.

I had to cancel my trip to Missouri. The flight was under $300 & I have supplied required paperwork. It’s delay after delay. I don’t believe they ever had any intention of reimbursement.

Cancelling due to Covid 19 is not covered, epidemics and pandemics are not covered. VERY VERY little is actually covered. Don't waste your time and money with this company.
